Privacy Policy

Version 1.1 — Updated October 20, 2026

This policy describes the personal information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you. We use customer information to process and fulfill custom orders, communicate with you, keep our site secure, and operate the services described below. Our practices must be read together with the actual site settings and the providers we use.

1. Information we collect

  • Order information: your name, email address, shipping address, and (if you provide one) phone number.
  • Personalization content: the photos, names, dates, and text you upload or enter to customize your item.
  • Technical information: your IP address, browser type, pages you view, and referring page.
  • Communications: emails you send us, including support requests.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 5.

2. How we use your information

  • To check your submitted materials, prepare proofs, produce personalized items, and deliver orders.
  • To send essential order, proof-approval, shipping, and support messages.
  • To respond to customer questions and handle requests concerning returns or payment.
  • To send marketing messages only where we have the necessary consent or another lawful basis, with unsubscribe options where required.
  • To protect the site, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
  • To understand site use and improve our services using any analytics or advertising tools that are actually enabled.

3. Who we share your information with

We do not sell customer personal information in the ordinary meaning of that term. We disclose information as necessary to provide our services, including to:

  • Production partners in mainland China: the approved design and relevant personalization content needed to make your order. These transfers may involve processing outside your country of residence.
  • Payment service providers: payment and transaction information necessary to process your purchase, such as Stripe or PayPal where enabled.
  • Delivery and customs service providers: the information required to ship, clear, track, and deliver packages.
  • Website hosting and security providers: including GoDaddy where it hosts our site.
  • Email service providers: to send order notifications and reply to customer messages.
  • Analytics and advertising providers: such as Google, but only for the services and tags actually enabled on our website.

Information shared with service providers may be processed in other jurisdictions, where local authorities may have lawful access. We take reasonable steps to limit use to appropriate purposes. Some privacy laws define certain advertising-related disclosures as “sharing” or “selling” even where no money is exchanged; where applicable, we will provide required notices and choices.

4. Advertising across websites

If advertising or conversion-measurement tags are enabled, third-party providers may collect information about visits to this and other websites using cookies or similar technologies. Where required by applicable law, we will provide relevant notices, consent controls, or opt-out mechanisms.

For information about Google’s advertising preferences, visit Google My Ad Center. The precise data collected depends on the tools we have enabled and their settings.

5. Cookies

  • Essential cookies: help the shopping cart, checkout, website security, and account sessions function.
  • Analytics and advertising cookies: may be used when the relevant tools are enabled, subject to applicable notice and consent or opt-out requirements.

You can manage cookies through your browser and, where available, our website’s cookie controls. Blocking essential cookies may affect checkout and other site functions.

6. Data retention

  • Personalization materials: we aim to remove uploaded photos and design files from active production systems within 30 days of confirmed delivery, unless they are needed longer for a support request, an active dispute, or legal compliance. Copies in protected backups may remain until the applicable backup cycle ends.
  • Order and transaction records: retained as needed for fulfillment, accounting, tax obligations, fraud prevention, and dispute handling.
  • Support communications: retained for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request and related obligations.

Please contact us if you would like information about retention for a specific type of data.

7. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to object to or opt out of certain processing. Email support@unimemorie.com to submit a request. We will verify requests where appropriate and aim to respond within 30 days, or within a different period where law requires.

Some information may need to be kept for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, or other lawful reasons. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link provided in those messages.

8. Do Not Track

Our website does not currently use a universal response to traditional browser “Do Not Track” requests. Where applicable law requires us to recognize specific opt-out preference signals or provide privacy choices, we will do so through the relevant site configuration. Our actual cookie and privacy controls should match this disclosure.

9. Children

Our site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Canadian subscribers (CASL)

For Canadian recipients, we send commercial electronic messages in accordance with applicable anti-spam requirements. Marketing emails are sent only where permitted and include identification and unsubscribe information as required. Order and proof-related messages are sent to fulfill the transaction or respond to your request.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, technology, or legal requirements. The updated date appears at the top of this page. The revised policy will apply from its stated effective date, subject to applicable law.
