1. Accepting these terms

These terms govern your use of unimemorie.com and purchases through the site. By checking the required terms acceptance box at checkout and placing an order, you agree to the policies linked there. We maintain updated terms on this site. Where our checkout recordkeeping is configured to retain acceptance details, we may preserve the terms version and acceptance timestamp with the order.

Updates to these terms will not override mandatory rights or retroactively alter an already concluded purchase where doing so would be unlawful.

2. How custom orders work

  1. You place an order and upload your photo or provide the requested personalization details.
  2. We aim to review the submitted materials within 24 hours and will contact you if clearer materials are needed.
  3. We aim to email a design proof within 2 business days after your materials are accepted.
  4. You may request up to 2 free revisions of that proof.
  5. You explicitly approve the final proof. If you do not reply within 72 hours, we send a reminder and may pause production. No approval is inferred from silence.
  6. We produce, inspect, and dispatch your custom item within the shipment timeframe communicated on the product page or at checkout, subject to the Shipping & Delivery Policy and applicable rights if a delay occurs.

3. Your content and your rights

By submitting photos, artwork, names, dates, or other content (your “Content”), you confirm and promise that:

  • You own your Content or have permission to use it — for example, the pet or family photos you submit were taken by you or shared with you for this purpose.
  • Your Content does not infringe anyone’s copyright, trademark, or privacy or publicity rights. Do not submit celebrity images, sports logos, or third-party characters without permission.

You grant us and our production partners a limited, non-exclusive license to use your Content solely to design, produce, and deliver your order — that is the only reason we use it. You keep all ownership of your Content, and we will never sell it or use it in advertising without asking you first.

We may refuse or cancel any order whose Content appears unlawful or infringing, with a full refund.

4. Handmade variation

Our items are individually crafted, so minor differences in color, finish, and detail may occur. Screen settings can also affect colors. This does not excuse material differences from an approved proof, incorrect personalization, defects, or other issues for which consumers have legal remedies.

5. Pricing and payment

Product prices are displayed in US dollars. Applicable checkout taxes, if we collect them, are shown before payment. Import duties and import-related taxes are handled under the prepaid shipping arrangements described in our Shipping & Delivery Policy; please refer to that policy for the procedure if a carrier requests an unexpected charge.

Available payment methods are those displayed at checkout and may include cards, digital wallets, or PayPal through our payment service providers. Payment details are processed through the applicable provider; we do not intentionally retain full payment card numbers on our own website systems.

6. Shipping, delivery, and returns

Our Shipping & Delivery Policy and Refund & Return Policy are part of these terms.

7. Order cancellation

You may request a full refund before custom production begins. Once production begins after your explicit proof approval, change-of-mind cancellations are generally not refundable. Your rights regarding defects, errors, delayed shipment, and other non-waivable statutory protections remain unaffected.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, our liability for ordinary contractual claims relating to an order is limited to the amount paid for that order. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where the law prohibits such a limit, including applicable rights relating to fraud, deliberate misconduct, personal injury, defective products, or mandatory consumer remedies.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, to the extent permitted by applicable law. This choice does not deprive you of mandatory consumer protections or access to legal remedies that apply in your place of residence.
